Grand National

Day 1

Midday departure, we set off for the vibrant seaside town of Blackpool, travelling directly to the coast. After arriving in the late afternoon, there’ll be time to settle into the hotel before enjoying a delicious evening meal. The rest of the evening is yours to relax and unwind.

Day 2

Get ready for an exciting day at the races, where the atmosphere is electric and the competition fierce. Your package includes admission to The Embankment, giving you a fantastic view of the action — or why not upgrade to The Festival Zone for an even more vibrant race-day experience? Feel the thrill as the horses thunder past, place your bets, and cheer on your favourites in a day full of excitement, style, and sporting drama.

The Embankment (included) This is a great place to experience the atmosphere of the Grand National. Situated on the far side of the Melling Road, this enclosure allows great viewing of the Grand National itself. A new seating facility, overlooking the Mildmay course, has been created so this Grand National Stands offers viewing of all other races. There is no access to the Parade Ring or Winner’s Enclosure from this area. However, this area does have its own bars, catering, betting facilities, big screen viewing and live entertainment.

Festival Zone (supplement £34)
This new permanent facility supplies one of the largest and most atmospheric enclosures. As well as permitting access to the new Aintree Pavilion, these tickets allow racegoers to sample bars and catering areas within the Red Rum Garden and the legendary Irish bar within the Princess Royal Stand. Access is also permitted for viewing of the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure, ensuring you sample the best of Aintree’s unique atmosphere during your visit.

Although this facility is not undercover, it does offer great views of the horses racing up the home straight. There is large-screen TV viewing directly in front of the mound. Live music can be found in various locations within the Enclosure, ensuring racegoers are entertained throughout the day.

Day 3

After a leisurely start to the morning, we check out of the hotel and make our way to the impressive Trafford Centre — the perfect place to relax, enjoy a bite to eat, and perhaps treat yourself by spending some of your race-day winnings. We arrive back into local areas late afternoon.
