Set against the charming backdrop of Bakewell, this vibrant farmers’ market is a must-visit event that brings the town to life on the last Saturday of every month. Drawing in thousands of visitors, the hugely popular Bakewell Farmers’ Market is buzzing with energy—so much so that many of its 50+ stallholders often sell out before the day is done!
Organised by Derbyshire Dales District Council, the market is a true celebration of the Peak District’s finest. Expect an irresistible showcase of high-quality, locally sourced, and fully traceable produce. While you’ll find a sprinkle of unique crafts, the real stars are the food and drink stalls—overflowing with delights like artisan breads, homemade jams and preserves, rich ice creams, rare-breed pork, fresh mushrooms, and generous piles of seasonal vegetables.
