We return to Torquay for one of our best selling holidays at Torquay Leisure Hotel Resort. Situated in the heart of Torquay, there’s not much this resort doesn’t offer – with daytime activities, nightly entertainment and extensive leisure facilities, this is a holiday not to be missed.

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Torquay arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Day 2

Free day in Torquay. Why not visit some of their most popular attractions such as the Princess Theatre, Torre Abbey, Princess Pier and Abbey Park.

Day 3

We begin at Newton Abbot, a traditional market town. Onwards to the House of Marbles. Visitors can explore the museum with displays of games, glass, pottery and marbles, see glass-blowing at the glassworks and pickup a souvenir from the giftshop.

Day 4

Lovely day starting in Paignton where we board the train to Kingswear. We have a short ferry crossing then board a 60 minute cruise to Dartmouth. Have some free time in Dartmouth before a return ferry and train back to Paignton.

Day 5

Another free day to explore Torquay

Day 6

A free day in Paignton. This compact seaside resort has a long beachfront with a delightful promenade, traditional pier and brightly coloured beach huts. There is plenty to do in the town centre with a mix of independent and high street shops.

Day 7

After a leisurely breakfast we make our return journey home.

Derwent Hotel

THL Derwent Hotel is a lively and informal hotel offering comfortable guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms, TV, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Leisure facilities including a
swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. The hotel has a lift.
