Enjoy the spectacular views of England’s largest National Park, with high mountains and deep lakes, whilst staying in the coastal resort of Morecambe. The Lake District is one of the most appealing holiday destinations in the UK and is the perfect location for a short break, any time of the year.

    Day 1

Morning departure to Bury, visiting on market day. Rejoin the coach mid afternoon as we continue to Morecambe.


    Day 2

We begin the day with a scenic journey on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway to Lakeside followed by a relaxing cruise on Lake Windermere. The remainder of the day is at leisure in Bowness-on-Windermere.


    Day 3

Morning visit to Lancaster Castle. The castle is one of the UK’s most significant historic monuments. Its origins date back to Roman times and it has been a centre of justice, incarceration and penal reform for almost 1,000 years. The afternoon is at leisure in Lancaster.


    Day 4

The morning is at leisure in Morecambe. In the afternoon we make our return journey home.

Child (12 years and under) prices are based on sharing with two full fare paying passengers. Therefore, if one adult and one child share a room the child will pay the adult price.
