Isle of Wight

The beautiful island of the Isle of Wight has been a favourite holiday destination for many years. The island is steeped in history with 60 miles of unspoilt scenery and a wealth of attractions from historic sites to natural delights.

    Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point. We make our way south for the short ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight and onwards to Shanklin.

    Day 2

We start the day with a journey across the island to Alum Bay where you will find the famous Needles Rock and lighthouse. We continue onto Ryde, a seaside town with miles of glorious golden sand and shallow coastal waters.

    Day 3

We start the day in Godshill, a popular old village with thatched houses and gift shops. The unique Model Village is well worth a visit. We continue on to Newport, the principle town in the centre of the island. The market town was once a very busy port and today, the harbour provides a pleasant walk with a waterfront restaurant.

    Day 4

This morning we make a short journey to the neighbouring town of Sandown. This seaside town has a great selection of attractions, including a Zoo housed in an old fort and a purpose built interactive Dinosaur Museum. We return to Shanklin in the afternoon where you can explore the town at leisure.

    Day 5

After breakfast rejoin the coach for our return journey home.

    Daish Hotel

The Daish Hotel is located in Shanklin, one of the Isle of Wight’s most popular tourist areas. The building was originally an 18th century coaching inn. The hotel has retained the period features and great hospitality, but added everything you'd expect from a modern hotel. All guest rooms are en suite with TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
