Althorp House 

Althorp House in Northamptonshire, is the family home of the Spencer family for more than 500 years, and was the childhood home of Princess Diana. This tour gives you the chance to see inside this beautiful home, which carries the history of all who have lived there, including Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire (played by Keira Knightley in The Duchess).

Dorset Steam Fair 

The Dorset Steam Fair is the world’s largest heritage and cultural event, showcasing Great Britain’s national industrial, agricultural and leisure history. Traditionally held in the village of Tarrant Hinton, the show covers over 600 acres and its sheer scale means there’s so much to see you’re guaranteed to find something to entertain. From Steam tractors, cars and lorries, to threshing demonstrations, miniature steam engines and historic motor vehicles, there’s every conceivable type of steam powered engine or machine. There are also a plethora of craft stalls and demonstrations, trade stands and stunt displays, heavy horse and rural displays, and if that wasn’t enough, a food hall and even a fairground!
